Paul and Suzie Adamson planted Harewood Estate in November 2001 with the help of their sons James and Tom. Their grove is located in the heart of the Wairarapa Valley, just over an hour from New Zealand’s capital city Wellington.

Harewood Estate olive grove is framed to the west by majestic mountains, and to the east it is just a short drive to beautiful coastal beaches.

This environment gives us ideal growing conditions – heat in summer to ripen and fully flavour our fruit, and the cold off snow capped mountains to kill bugs in winter so we can grow on organic principles.

Contact Us

We welcome visitors to our olive grove. We are across the road from the second oldest railway station in New Zealand – you can catch the train from New Zealand’s capital city Wellington to join us for a stroll in the grove or add exploring the neighbouring award winning vineyards, or trying the outdoor pursuits or cafes, before catching the train back at the end of your visit.

You'll also find us on Saturday mornings at the Farmers Market.
We can be reached via email: harewood@wise.net.nz or phone (06) 377 3383 (+64 6 377 3383).
