KIC is a family-orientated business, based in Wairarapa.
Emphasis is placed on extended involvement from all family members into the day-to-day running of the company.
Kiwi Ideas Company KICked off in 2004 with first product development underway.
un-fog-able goggles
Our main aim was to develop ultimate eye protection that didn't fog up when under physical exertion. The outcome was SAFE-EYES®, the un-fog-able goggles, that not only didn't fog up but also stood up to the rugged conditions typical of kiwi lifestyle.
Most eye injuries can be attributed to specks of flying particles touching the eye and causing irritation, vision impairment and sometimes, blindness.
Statistics New Zealand reports that 6% of all work related claims are for 'foreign bodies in eyes'.
This is a staggering 12,348 people per year and does not include any of the thousands of minor injuries in which a claim was not made.
We have collaborated with Pikes Plastics.
