'not only natural but also healthy'

The Peak Brewery is a boutique brewery situated on a certified organic lifestyle block near Carterton in the Wairarapa. Continuing this theme by using only the best, organic, malt and hops for our beers means that we can deliver wonderful tasting European-style beers to our discerning customers.

Our beer styles are based on regional British and European recipes. At present, these are:

Mendip Bitter a traditional British pub "session" beer.
Cornhill Porter a full-bodied, robust, rich and very dark ale.
Alb Weiss a German-style hefeweizen, or yeasty-cloudy wheat beer.
Sollinger Bock a traditional German springtime strong festival beer (seasonal only).
Monkey Point India Pale Ale a strong hoppy and oak-aged beer, reflecting the tradition of shipping beer from Britain to India.
Drachenfels Lager a Koelsch (Cologne-style) lager, pale, light and very pleasant.

All our beers are bottle-conditioned, the traditional method of carbonating beer. This results in a small amount of sediment, which is not only natural but also healthy.

As we don't use any fining agents, all our beers are suitable for vegetarians and vegans. You'll find us on Saturday mornings at the Farmers Market.
