Using the combined experience of Jim Philps (Podiatrist and Foot Orthotist), Adam Philps and associate Paul Maddox (Wairarapa clinic), Philps Podiatry take special pride in treatment of biomechanical (human movement) problems, diabetic foot care and general foot health problems.

Podiatrist and associate, Paul Maddox has a special interest and higher qualifications in diabetic foot management. Paul offers experienced care for the prevention and managment of diabetic related foot problems- ulcers for example.

Philps Podiatry also offers a unique service in New Zealand. Providing not only the prescription, but the manufacture and issuing of our orthotic/ footwear modifications by the clinician. Combining over 30 years experience and 'state of the art' equipment, gait analysis helps people with complicated walking and running patterns, eg; Stroke victims, clubfoot deformity and ankle arthritis, etc.

General Podiatry Service
As well as the specialist service above, Philps Podiatry also prides itself on the management of general foot conditions. Modern on site diagnostic equipment including ultrasound Doppler for circulation studies help provide comprehensive diabetes management.
