Wairarapa DHB plans, funds and provides public health services for our population of around 40,000, over a wide, beautiful geographical area.
Our responsibilities include:

Improving, promoting and protecting health

Promoting the inclusion, participation and independence of people with disabilities

Reducing the difference between the health of population groups, particularly between Maori and non-Maori.

Encouraging community participation in health improvement and planning

Ensuring the right mix of services to meet the health needs of our region
Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are between 2.00 pm and 8.00 pm.
Special visiting arrangements
When patients are children, or are seriously or terminally ill, special arrangements can be made with the nurse in charge to visit at other times.
