Wairarapa Greens

The Wairarapa Branch of the Green Party has grown steadily since it was first formed, but to maintain and increase our influence on the local, as well as national, political scene we are keen to welcome new members. While voting Green at national elections is important, having a base of financial members is also essential for the party to be able to function effectively in Parliament.

By becoming a paid-up member of the Green Party you automatically become a member of the local branch and receive notices of branch meetings, visits by MPs, film evenings and other activities.

Here in Wairarapa we recognise that the future of our over-stressed planet and its people is the most important challenge facing us today — there’s just too much at risk to continue ignoring the warning signs.
