Regular meetings with friendly helpful people who share and encourage your interests.

Access to suppliers of necessary materials for your craft. i..e., Carded wool for spinning, spun wool for knitters, felting bats, silk in various forms and many other items to cater for varied interests.

Sale of your items through the guild. We have a retail outlet for a few weeks during the year and goods are also sold year round at the Shear Discovery Centre.

Membership to the National Body through your local guild which entitles to you to tutorials, a monthly magazine, an informative web site and contacts Nationwide with people of similar interests.

Summer Garden Spin Ins We arrange visits to members homes in January every year where you can enjoy the garden atmospheres and relax with a picnic lunch.

Bus Trips If we have enough interest we arrange bus trips for our members to out of town locations.


Spinning Meetings

Held in the Shear Discovery Centre. Dixon Street. Masterton.

1st Tuesday each month at 7.00 pm (not in January).

Meetings every Wednesday at 10.00am (not in January).

EQUIPMENT

The guild has equipment that can be hired by members. The charge is $5.00 per month.

LIBRARY

An extensive library of craft books on spinning, weaving, knitting, crochet, dyeing etc and many patterns, are available for members at spinning meetings. The charge is 20c per book per month.
